PROFESSIONAL SPORTS IN ALL ITS GLORY
Here we go again........ You can read all about it *daily* in your local newspaper....the NHL trading, the signings, the multi-million dollar contracts. Not to mention the NFL, the NBA, Baseball, Golf, Soccer and Tennis. And, who*s paying for all this? We are, the FANS! But how is it that these *professional sports players* make millions and I cant (the average FAN) cant afford to see a live sporting event? The fact of the matter is, whether you like it or not, many, many, many things you buy or purchase, supports professional sports through their advertising. And again, who pays for it? WE DO!
So what do we (The FANS) do about it? Number #1, STOP supporting Professional Sports by NOT BUYING any product associated with it. You can still watch your favorite sporting events, jut don*t buy any of the advertised products via commercials or whatever you see posted in the sports arena or stadiums. Number #2: Do not purchase any product that directly promotes a Professional Sports Team and / or Player. Number #3: DO NOT attend any sporting event that costs more than $20 for the best seat in the house. If FANS, every FAN did this, you can bet your bottom dollar we wont be reading about multi-million dollar contracts, but we will still be able to enjoy *Professional Sports*. Then we the FANS will really test the metal of *a Professional Sports Person* who says, *I play because I love it.* (I love my job too, but I don*t get paid a million dollars a year doing it!)
Don*t pay a nickel. If FAN could get 10,000 sign-ups, then maybe, collectively, FANS might have a way to be heard not only through their wallets, but through their voices, and let all those associated with Professional sports put their money where their mouth is. In fact maybe they should be paying us for showing up and buying their products. Think of It! All registered FAN will be paid to attend and given free products of all sponsors. 10,000 registrations. Now were talking!
